Introduction

Outback Shipping Containers LLC ("Outback Shipping Containers," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website https://shippingcontainersoutback.com, our phone and email support channels, and our order fulfillment process; how we use and safeguard that information; and the choices and rights you have regarding your data. By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to the practices described in this policy. This policy applies to all visitors, prospective customers, and buyers of our shipping containers, modular structures, custom modifications, and related services throughout the United States.

02

Information We Collect

We collect two broad categories of information: (1) information you voluntarily provide to us, and (2) information that is collected automatically when you interact with our website, ads, or emails. The following sections describe each category in detail. We only collect information that is reasonably necessary to operate our business, fulfill your orders, communicate with you, comply with applicable law, and improve your experience.

03

Information Customers Voluntarily Provide

When you request a quote, create an account, place an order, apply for financing, subscribe to our newsletter, contact customer support, or use our Container Finder and 3D Customization tools, you may provide us with: your full name; billing and shipping address; email address; phone number; company name and business type; project details, container specifications, and delivery location; financing pre-qualification information (when you apply through our lending partners); payment details entered on our secure checkout; login credentials if you create an account; and any other information you choose to include in messages, uploaded files, or support communications. Financing applications may involve additional information collected directly by our third-party lending partners under their own privacy policies.

04

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including your IP address, general geographic location derived from IP, device type and identifiers, operating system, browser type and version, screen size, referring and exit URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, search terms used on our site, time and date of your visit, session duration, cart activity, wishlist activity, and interactions with our Container Finder, delivery quote calculator, and customization configurator. This information is used to operate the site, measure performance, prevent fraud, improve the user experience, and support security investigations.

05

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember cart and wishlist contents, save preferences, understand how our site is used, and deliver relevant marketing across Google, Bing, and social platforms. Cookies fall into four categories: strictly necessary (required for the site to function and for checkout), preference (remember your selections), analytics (measure usage and performance), and advertising (support targeted advertising and conversion measurement). You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through in-page consent tools. Blocking certain cookies may limit site functionality such as checkout, saved carts, or account access. See our Cookie Policy for a full list of the cookies we use and their retention periods.

06

Analytics (Including Google Analytics)

We use analytics services, including Google Analytics 4, to understand how visitors find and interact with our website so we can improve it. These services set cookies and collect information such as pages viewed, session duration, device and browser data, referral source, approximate location, and interactions with key on-site tools. We have enabled IP anonymization where supported and we do not upload personally identifiable information to Google Analytics. You may opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, by adjusting your browser cookie settings, or by using the consent controls provided on our site.

08

Payment Processing and Payment Security

Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processors and financial institutions. When you pay by card, bank wire, or ACH, your payment credentials are transmitted directly to our payment processor over an encrypted connection and are tokenized on their systems. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or bank account credentials on our servers. We receive only limited information necessary to complete and reconcile the transaction (such as a payment token, card brand, last four digits, authorization result, billing name, and billing zip code). For bank wire and ACH payments, we handle the routing information you provide solely to process the specific transaction and any subsequent refunds.

09

Fraud Prevention and Identity Verification

To protect our customers, our business, and our payment partners from fraud, we and our processors may use address verification (AVS), card verification (CVV), device fingerprinting, IP reputation checks, order-pattern analysis, and manual review of unusual orders. For higher-value orders, we may request additional verification such as a copy of a government-issued ID, a matching billing statement, or a callback to a verified phone number on file. Information used for fraud prevention is retained only for the period necessary to investigate and defend against fraudulent transactions and to comply with applicable law.

10

Shipping and Order Fulfillment Information

To deliver your container, we share the minimum information required with logistics providers, trucking companies, crane operators, and, where applicable, modification shops. This typically includes the recipient's name, delivery address, phone number, delivery notes (such as gate codes or site access instructions), container specifications, and expected delivery window. Delivery partners may collect proof-of-delivery information such as signatures, delivery photos, and GPS timestamps. These partners are required to use this information solely to complete the delivery.

11

Customer Support Communications

When you contact us by phone, email, live chat, contact form, or SMS, we collect the content of your communication along with your contact details and any information about your order that is relevant to resolving your inquiry. We use this information to respond to you, train our team, improve our products and services, and maintain records of the support we have provided. Calls to and from our sales and support lines may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance and training, where permitted by law. Our AI-assisted live chat is used to answer common questions about products, sizing, delivery, and pricing; transcripts are stored for quality and improvement purposes and may be reviewed by our team.

12

Marketing Communications and How to Opt Out

With your consent where required, we may send you marketing emails, SMS messages, direct mail, or targeted online ads featuring new inventory, promotions, buyer's guides, and product releases. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and SMS messages allow you to reply STOP to opt out. You can also opt out at any time by contacting sales@outbackshippingcontainers.com. Opting out of marketing will not affect transactional messages related to your orders, deliveries, invoices, warranty claims, or account and security notices, which are necessary to fulfill our contract with you.

13

Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on a number of trusted third-party service providers to operate our business, including web hosting and content delivery, database and cloud storage, email delivery, SMS delivery, analytics (Google Analytics), advertising (Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Microsoft Advertising, Meta), payment processing, financing, mapping and address autocomplete, live chat, customer relationship management, and shipping and logistics. These providers are granted access only to the information they need to perform their services and are contractually required to protect that information and use it only for the purposes we specify.

14

Data Sharing Practices

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances: (a) with service providers described above under written agreements; (b) with logistics and delivery partners to fulfill your order; (c) with payment processors and financing partners to complete transactions or applications you initiate; (d) with professional advisors (auditors, insurers, lawyers) under duties of confidentiality; (e) in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets, in which case customers will be notified of any material change in how their information is handled; and (f) with regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required to comply with a legal obligation, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, employees, or the public.

15

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with our legal, tax, accounting, and reporting obligations. Order, invoice, warranty, and tax records are retained for at least seven (7) years from the transaction date to comply with U.S. federal and state tax and commercial recordkeeping requirements. Account and support records are retained for the life of your account plus a reasonable period thereafter. Marketing preferences and unsubscribe records are retained for as long as required to honor your choice. When information is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it.

16

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our website and services are directed to businesses and adult consumers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age, and, consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not target our services to children. Our checkout and financing processes require the user to be at least 18 years old. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact sales@outbackshippingcontainers.com and we will promptly delete it.

17

Consumer Privacy Rights (California, Virginia, and Other U.S. States)

Depending on where you reside, you may have specific rights under state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA), and other similar laws. These rights may include: the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it; the right to access a copy of your personal information; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to request deletion of personal information, subject to certain exceptions (such as recordkeeping and legal obligations); the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information for money. To the extent that our use of advertising cookies constitutes "sharing" under the CCPA, you may opt out at any time using the cookie controls on our site or by contacting sales@outbackshippingcontainers.com. California residents may also request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, disclosed for a business purpose, or shared in the preceding 12 months.

18

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of the rights described above, email sales@outbackshippingcontainers.com, call +1 (346) 503-5478, or write to us at 10000 Wallisville Rd, Houston, TX 77013. We will verify your identity by matching the information you provide with the information we already hold, and we may request additional verification for sensitive requests. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we will require proof of the agent's authority. We will respond to verifiable requests within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 45 days, extendable once by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary). If we deny your request, we will explain the reason in our response, and you may appeal by replying to the response.

19

Security Measures Used to Protect Customer Information

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These safeguards include 256-bit TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication for administrative accounts, activity logging and monitoring, regular security reviews of our platform and vendors, PCI-DSS compliant payment processing, and employee training on privacy and information security. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, so while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

20

International Visitors

Our website is hosted and operated in the United States and is intended for customers located in the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, which may have data protection laws that differ from those of your country. By using our website or providing us with information, you consent to this transfer. We do not currently ship containers outside of the United States.

21

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to interpret DNT signals, our website does not respond to DNT at this time. Where required by law (including in California), we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal received from your browser as a valid request to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for that browser and device.

22

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal obligations, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, notify you by email or a notice on our website prior to the change taking effect. Please review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
