Storage Containers For Sale

Wind- and watertight steel storage containers from $919 — buy outright, delivered nationwide in 7–10 business days with no monthly rental fees.

A steel storage container is the cheapest secure square footage you can put on a property. Outback sells over a hundred storage units in stock right now — 10ft, 20ft, 40ft and high cube — all graded wind- and watertight, with cargo doors, marine plywood floors and Corten steel walls that shrug off weather, pests and forced entry.

Buying beats renting once you pass about a year of use: you stop paying monthly, and the unit holds resale value. Every container is inspected, photographed and sold with its own unit number so you know the exact box arriving on your site.

Specifications & what you get

Wind & watertight grading

Every unit is inspected against CSC criteria: no daylight through the walls, sound roof, working gaskets and doors that seal on the cam locks. Anything that fails is repaired or rejected before it's listed.

Security hardware

Cargo-lock bars as standard, with optional lockbox shrouds, puck locks, extra lock plates and welded security bars over vents fitted in our yard before delivery.

Real usable space

160 sq ft in a 20ft and 320 sq ft in a 40ft, with 8'6" internal height standard and 9'6" on high cubes — enough clearance for racking, pallet stacks and standing headroom after insulation.

Tilt-bed delivery

Tilt-bed trucks set the container directly on your prepared pad. You need roughly 100 ft of straight clearance for a 40ft and 60 ft for a 20ft; our dispatcher confirms access before scheduling.

What it's used for

  • Household and moving storage
  • Jobsite tool and material lockups
  • Retail and e-commerce inventory overflow
  • Farm, ranch and equipment storage
  • Document and records archives
