Container condition grades explained

One-Trip / New

A single loaded voyage from the factory. Clean paint, tight doors, minimal denting — the closest thing to a new shipping container and the right pick for modifications, offices and homes.

Cargo Worthy (CW)

Certified structurally sound and still approved for international shipping. Surface rust and dings are normal; the container is watertight and the doors seal.

Wind & Watertight (WWT)

Retired from shipping service but still dry inside. The most economical way to buy secure steel storage.

As-Is

Sold with known faults noted up front (door damage, floor repairs, patched panels). Lowest cost per square foot when appearance doesn't matter.

How buying a shipping container works

01

Pick the size and condition

20ft and 40ft cover most jobs. Choose one-trip if the container will be modified or seen by customers; wind & watertight if it's pure storage.

02

Confirm delivery access

A tilt-bed truck needs roughly 100ft of straight clearance for a 40ft unit and 60ft for a 20ft unit, plus level, firm ground.

03

Lock the price

Pay by card, ACH or wire, or spread the cost with financing. Your quote holds the unit and the delivery slot.

04

Take delivery

In-stock containers ship in 7–10 business days nationwide. Modified units run 10–14 business days.
