Areas we deliver shipping containers in Atlanta
Site prep for an Atlanta delivery
- Firm, level ground — Georgia red clay softens fast, so gravel helps after rain.
- About 60ft of straight run for a 20ft unit, 100ft for a 40ft unit.
- 14ft of overhead clearance — watch for tree cover on wooded lots.
- Railroad ties or piers under the four corner castings keep the floor dry.
Permits around metro Atlanta
Rules differ by city and county across the metro. Temporary jobsite storage is often allowed without a permit; permanent placement and habitable conversions usually need one. We supply drawings and specifications for the submission, and your deposit is refundable if the permit is denied.
